- A Pancake Day starty cabaret
The Frittary was in celebration of pancake day at the glorious Shoreditch Town Hall.
Sins were shriven, carnival masks and headdresses were crafted, the saints went marching in and Heart and Soul (the country's favourite girlband that you never heard of) were fresh home from their tour with the POTUS.
The Starty is a bit like a party and a bit like a cabaret but its also a handy Womens’ Committee Meeting to help you air all your seasonal thoughts. As we all know that Christmas starts sometime in September these days, its traditional that the Starty starts far too early and kicks off the party season.
Men are as welcome as women and the cabarets often morph into riotous parties when the live entertainment is done.
Your hosts are the Ladies of the WC who will guide you through an evening of music, passion, laughs, games, dancing, a fabulous raffle, prizes, crafting and hilarity.
Guests are invited to dress up if they wish- Christmas Jumpers, Elf disguises, Womens' Committee frocks, Summer Garlands and all nature of seasonal appropriate garb are very welcome. And there are prizes for the best dressed . Or just turn up and come for laughs and disco dancing.
The Starty has been seen at SoHo Theatre, Shoreditch Town Hall, Exmouth Market Centre, Land of Kings Festival, The Book Club in Shoreditch, London and Winterville for Time Out.
