- Large-scale artistic takeover of Chateau of Versailles
Across a full day and night, invited press and influencers experienced unforgettable performances throughout the Palace of Versaille & its grounds
from engaging tours which brought the Château’s state rooms to life, to playful performances which surprised, immersed and entertained while celebrating the ancient trees of the gardens of the Petit Trianon
We also produced work by French dance company Danaiade alongside our British performers.
The experience culminated in a lavish evening reception in the Orangery accompanied by a surprise storming of the palace by Les Indes Galantes who presented an exhilarating dance performance.
Gideon Reeling co-conceived the day with Polar Black & Remy Martin in London and Paris.
We produced and directed all performance end-to-end: script, rehearsal, stage management, costumes, make up and props, drawing inspiration from the tales and opulence of the French court when the original Remy Martin’s first visited Louis XV in Versailles (1738) to obtain special dispensation to plant new vines in recognition of the excellence of his cognacs
