A trail along the high street and waterside for adults and families.
Created for Hounslow’s 2024 Summer of Culture, tours and trails project.

Picturing Brentford includes many treasured photographs of this ancient town in Middlesex
and invites participants to take a step back in time to discover the stories, the places, the faces and voices that have gone to shape the town – and those that still do today.
Gideon Reeling collaborated with local historians, Brentford Voice and local museums including London Museum of Water and Steam to create Picturing Brentford.

All points on the trail are marked on the map as trail points 1-8
At each point participants scan the appropriate qr code with a smartphone to see images, videos, history and remembrances of Brentford as they follow the trail on foot or  alternatively on hounslow's pages online.
