- Roundhouse Studio Sense Story for Reading for RNIB Day
The Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) commisioned Hector Harkness and Kate Hargreaves to co-direct and Colin Nightingale and Kate Hargreaves to Co-Produce a show for the Roundhouse Studio in August 2013.
An exclusive story written by double Carnegie Medal winning author Patrick Ness. “Now That You’ve Died” was been narrated by Christopher Eccleston in co-production with creative agency Guided Collective.
The tale invited guests to question their expectations of story-telling whilst experiencing a unique sensory experience for RNIB's "Read for RNIB Day' to raise awareness and encourage contribution to their drive to create increased numbers of audio books.
The bulk of the show was experienced in complete darkness and was performed to audiences of 10 people.
Sound Artist Matthias Kispert created the sound and music,
Dan McGavin created the set and Kate Ashcroft performed as the lift operator.
